Abubakar Isaac, a talented twin from a remote community, suffered a minor accident that left one leg impaired. Without quick medical intervention due to financial constraints, he stayed home for years, with the nearest school a daunting 2-hour trek away. Bramble Network changed that—providing quality education, easing his family's financial burden, and nurturing his gifts in weaving and drawing. Sponsoring young people like Isaac validate dreams, ensuring children thrives and inspire others as they grow.
Building upon our impactful work, our learners stood out among many applicants, clinching the 2026 Ciena Solutions Sustainability Award with their project "Empower Rural," focused on uplifting youth, especially young girls and women in rural and marginalised communities. This win highlights their vision and our shared commitment to sustainable impact.
