Our organization has been empowering individuals with physical disabilities to pursue independent livelihoods since 1981 through rehabilitation, education, training, employment, and empowerment initiatives. We are proud to mention here that we have been honored with numerous awards at the State, National, and International levels for our efforts.
Our inclusive education program at Siva Saraswathy Vidyalaya imparts quality education to over 644 children with disabilities and 6135 other students from economically challenged backgrounds, from Nursery to 12th grade. We charge no fees from physically challenged students, while only a very nominal fee is collected from other poor rural children. Cent percent success rate has been achieved for the past several years in 10th & 12th Standard Government examinations – scoring again 100% success in the examinations held in March/April 2026. Till this date, more than 11,000 rural poor students and over 800 differently able students have passed out from our inclusive Schools.
There is a feeling of triumph in the fact that our intellectually challenged students, who initially joined our Sangamam School for special children years ago, have joined this inclusive school and have scored high marks in the last year board examinations. This is a boost to our pursuit of inclusive education.
