It is always exciting to experience the first day of school. Children are eager to attend as they realize the importance of education in the world. Especially when you come from a rural village and see your parents working the fields to eke out a living to feed many family members.
The children in our CCDO programs are eager to learn English and Sports. However, if asked, the Computer Class always has the strongest allure and there is 100% attendance in these classes. The Library visits are popular as it gives them a chance to practice their English and reading skills.
We ensure that their parents are involved in the education process and they too realize the benefits by not asking the kids to work in the fields. Out greatest joy is when the parents come to our school ceremonies, be it the opening ceremony or a quarterly parent meeting or graduation day. Often, we will notice a father quietly reading to a student. This is the success of the program.
With your generous support, you are dream makers for these children.
