Educational Sponsorship for 120 Children - India

While working with underprivileged communities we come across many more children who lack basic necessities like education, nutrition, and healthcare. IDEA sponsorship program is supporting children from deprived background since many years.  Through this program, we make sure that the children will complete their schooling through continuous support from our social workers and we monitor their progress regularly.

We have sponsored the education of 255 children last year. Many of these children are with us from primary school. By the help of generous donors, we are continuously supporting these children and helping them to complete education.  Along with financial support, we also give them career guidance and take them for exposure visits.  With these activities, we are trying to motivate them to reach their potential and help them to know the outer world and the demands in the job markets. We believe only through education we can bring them out of the vicious circle of poverty.

This year 46 children appeared for the 10^th board exam, we are excited to see that  Honnappa,  scored  90.8 %, Aarti   87.8 %, and   Atharva   86.40%. Except one child all other passed the exam 

 Unlike other children in his class,  Honappa did not go for any extra coaching after school. His hard work and determination are the main reasons behind his success.   He wants to become an engineer.

Even the 12^th standards result was remarkable. 25 children appeared for the exam ; all of them passed and 9 children got first class. Mansi scored  75.30 % and  Shubham scored  74 %.

Such children motivate us to work more diligently and passionately for the development of downtrodden communities.
