We are glad to inform you this year IDEA supported 287 children from very poor back ground with our sponsorship program. IDEA is providing these under privileged children the necessary educational support and so that the parents who cannot afford can send their children to school. Deserving children especially from high school classes are provided with educational sponsorship in the form of school materials, uniforms / civic dress, school and coaching class fees and opportunities for their all-round development through co-curricular activities.
Gender sensitisation, awareness on food and nutrition for all round development etc are some of the informative programmes we have conducted for our sponsored children during the last couple of months.
We also felicitate children and parents for their outstanding performance and support .

Honappa is a very bright student who is under IDEA sponsorship program. He is studying in standard 10th. He is a good in academics as well in extracurricular activities like dancing and drawing.He is systematic and thorough in his subjects. He loves to read. Honappa's 9th standard result was remarkable , he scored 94 percent marks.
This achievement is very remarkable considering his family background . He is hailing from a very poor family and his parents are uneducated. Honappa has two brothers too who are doing diploma in engineering. The parents are working really hard to meet both ends , but still it is difficult for them to afford the education of their children. They motivate their children to study , as they know only education can bring a relief to their hardship. But their daily wages are not sufficient for the basic necessities , so they have requested IDEA for sponsorship support for Honappa’s education, so that they can some how manage the educational needs of other two children with the help of some loans.
We are really happy to inform you that Honappa is doing really well in school and he is sincere in his studies. It gives us immense pleasure and satisfaction to inform the donors that your generous donations have served many children to reach up to their dreams and to lead a better life, like Honappa.
