Summary

Many children in Indonesia are orphans and/or come from underprivileged families. According to government data, perhaps as many as hundreds of thousands of them. Their families or guardians are not able or are barely able to suffice their economic needs, and their very crucial educational needs. Seeing this, Rumah Zakat Foundation of Indonesia, has launched a project of providing educational scholarships in the form of cash assistance to orphans and underprivileged children.

Challenge

Thousands of children, many of them orphans, are living under dire economic circumstances. As a result, most of them do not have the financial means to access good education.

Solution

By providing financial assistance to underprivileged children and orphans, we can help them overcome the financial barrier that is obstructing their access to education.

Long-Term Impact

By providing financial assistance to underprivileged children and orphans, they can access or continue accessing good education that will benefit them and society in the future.
