children in a remote barrio
Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing for the schooling of indigent children. This reporting period, we selected children to support from very remote barrios in Mindanao. This cohort of 5 children walk 5 kilometers daily in order to attend school. We provided them with foot-wear, new pair of school uniform and nutritious meal packs good for 1 month each of them. Thanks very much for a local donor who sent the meal packs to us to be distributed to indigent children. As our project progress, we continue to find ways to support children in remote barrios whom support agencies have a difficult time reaching.
Again, thank you very much for your generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

livelihood support
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our project providing educational fund for indigent children. One way of doing this is to support the livelihood activities of their parents so that they have steady source of incomes. Most of the children that we are supporting belong to farming families and so we initiated a project that provides them with small farm animals for their livelihood activities. When the animals grow, they are sold in the local market. This reporting period, we are able to provide 12 piglets to 12 farming families.
Again, thank you very much for your kind support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Supporting gardens for income
Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project to provide fund for the education of indigent children. This project is very important in order to provide them with a head start in life since education is one way that they will be able to improve their chances of a good life later on. While providing them with direct financial support is important we feel it is also more beneficial for the children and their families to receive support that will sustain them and provide them with multiple benefits. In this sense, we calibrated our approach and provide their families with inputs so that they will be able to start their own gardens and in so doing earn directly from the production that they are able to get. An added benefit is in getting nutritious vegetables for their daily use.
Again, thank you very much for your kind support to this important project.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
