Dear Supporter,
It is heartbreaking that in 2026 we are still talking about access to education for vulnerable children.
Recently, through our partner Family Love in Transnistria, we supported a single mother and her two children who were struggling to meet even their most basic needs. Providing food for her family was already a challenge, leaving little possibility of purchasing school supplies or clothing.
As a result, her eldest daughter was unable to attend school.
Thanks to your support, we were able to provide essential items, including school supplies and clothing, helping her return to the classroom. Our local team also assisted the mother in applying for support she was entitled to but did not know was available.
In Ukraine, our partner Children's Hearts has started a new initiative called Kindergarten of Hope. For vulnerable children whose early years have been overshadowed by war, it offers a safe space to learn, play, and experience the joy of childhood once again.
For a few precious hours each day, children can learn away from the sound of sirens and the uncertainty of conflict. With many early years facilities closed due to bombing or because they lack suitable shelters, this programme provides not only education but also safety, stability, and hope.
Thank you for standing close to children and families facing incredibly difficult circumstances. Your kindness is helping vulnerable children learn, grow, and look forward to a brighter future.
Should you wish to support this work regularly, a monthly gift from just £7 can provide School Stationery for a child, helping them attend school, continue learning, and look to the future with hope.
With gratitude,
