EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS NURTURE TALENT

By Eddy Morris | Project leader

Dear our esteemed donors and supporters,

The year 2023 has been a great year for the young children under early childhood development program.

The most important element of childhood Care is for them to have an opportunity that nurtures their cognitive development. It's very thrilling experience to realize that our early childhood centers are offering the young children great opportunity and an environment where they can learn, Play and develop.

At the close of term three of 2023, during the graduation of top class pupils in One of the centers, parents and members of the community  came face to face with the reality that the children have hidden talents that once nurtured will make these children become powerful change agents of the society they come from.

It was thrilling to see children under five years perform in traditional songs and dance in the promotion of their local culture. The children also did wonderful plays which were so soothing to the audience and indeed exhibited huge potential for the children to become change makers.

Another great talent that was exhibited was debating. The kids eliminated wonderful ability to speak in public and analyze policy programs of government. In the topic" Government school is better private school" both the proposers of the motion and the opposers presented serious points to support differing arguments; what was interesting was to see young children present be views confidently and assertively before huge crowd and this is testimony that their talents in public speaking, analysis and socialisation skills is being built as a result of being at the learning center.

One of the parents that attended the event remarked" I will ensure that My children who have not been attending the Early childhood development program is enrolled next year and I will be an advocate for child learning".

Dear donors and supporters,we couldn't have achieved anything without your generous support and we owe you gratitude for the success the children are registering, please,as we close 2023, I just want to let you know that your generous support has had huge impact in the lives of the chicken whose future depends on us. I urge you to always have us in your thoughts and prayers but equally important, please consider telling a friend about the work we are doing for children. Our needs remain immense with more children desiring to join the center, this means we need more learning spaces, scholastic materials, uniforms, and yes some motivation for volunteers that offer their time to teach and nurture these children. As we end the year, kindly consider making modest donations so that we are able to go into 2024 with renewed hope of a better year ahead. We remain indebted to you for the love and support you have always rendered and I want to wish you a happy holidays season and wonderful Christmas celebration.
