Respected Patron,

Warm Greetings from SERUDS.

We are delighted to share that our nonprofit organization has been recognized as an Effective, Top-Ranked, and Vetted Charity for the year 2021 by the 501(c)(3) Tax-Deductible Charity GlobalGiving USA. This recognition inspires us to continue our mission of transforming lives through impactful initiatives.

Education plays a pivotal role in shaping a person’s future. When we provide quality education to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, we empower them to stand on their own feet and build a brighter future. We deeply appreciate your generous support in sponsoring educational materials for children studying in Municipal Memorial High Schools.

As part of our ongoing efforts, we frequently visit these schools to engage with the students and understand their educational needs. At the grassroots level, we strive to prevent school dropouts by providing essential educational materials. Many girl children, particularly from below-poverty-line families, lack timely access to such support. Their parents, unable to afford educational sponsorships, often send them to work as domestic help instead of enrolling them in schools.

To address this challenge, we regularly counsel parents, emphasizing the importance of education and its impact on their children’s future. Over the past 18 months, we have also conducted awareness campaigns on COVID-19 to educate schoolchildren about safety and hygiene.

Through our Education Sponsorship Program, we have supported 50 underprivileged girl students from 6th to 10th grade at Indira Gandhi Memorial Municipal High School. The support includes essential items such as long and short notebooks, pens, writing pads, sketch pens, pencils, erasers, school backpacks, branded new uniforms, shoes, and socks. Additionally, we prioritize menstrual hygiene for adolescent girls by providing sanitary napkins to ensure their health and well-being.

The impact of this initiative has been profound. Attendance rates among girl students have improved significantly, and their gratitude towards your generosity is heartfelt. Schoolteachers have also expressed their appreciation, recognizing the positive changes in the students’ lives and careers.

Thank you for your unwavering support in making a difference in the education of these young girls. Your contribution is not just an act of kindness but a step towards creating a brighter, more equitable future for all.
