May this project report finds you well.
The academic year of 2026-2027 officially started in July 2026. In this academic year, YKIP is able to continue to support 171 students from Junior to Senior High School. As with last year, we run the program in six areas in Bali: Denpasar Municipality, Badung Regency, Gianyar Regency, Karangasem Regency, Pengotan Village, and Les Village.
Of the total students, 76 students are in grade 12. These students will graduate from senior high school bty the end of the academic year. To support these students, YKIP will conduct the annual Youth Career Planning Workshop in December 2026. We will invite professionals from HR, tourism, and entrepreneurship to share their stories and insights with the students.
Scholarship distribution for the 1st quarter
The scholarship distribution for the first quarter of 2026-2027 academic year was held on the second to fourth months of August 2026. Starting in Les Village and Pengotan Village on August 15, then continuing to Denpasar, Badung, and finishing in Karangasem on August 29, 2026. YKIP distributed packages of school supplies that consist of:
in addition, we also distributed transportation allowances of IDR 300,000 for Junior High School and IDR 360,000 for Senior High School students. Besides the allowances, we also covered their extracurricular fees and exercise book payments, as well as their batik uniforms,
After the distribution finished, YKIP staff went to the students' school to pay for their tuition. The tuition for one semester was budgeted at IDR 600,000 for junior high school and IDR 900,000 for senior high school. If the payment is above the budget, the parents will be responsible for paying the difference. For those who are in grade 7 (junior high school) and grade 10 (senior high school), YKIP also covers the admission fees in the amount of IDR 1,000,000 and 1,300,000, respectively.
We will meet again with the students and their families during the second-quarter distribution of the 2026-2027 school year, an event that is planned for mid-October 2026.
