Educate 300 Street Children in Afghanistan

Summary

For many vulnerable children in Afghanistan, poverty means growing up without education or hope for a better future. Many spend their days on the streets because their families cannot afford school and learning materials. Through the "Educate 300 Street-Connected Children" project, OCP will help 300 children access basic education, learning materials, and a safe place to learn. With your support, these children can leave the streets behind and move toward a brighter future.

Challenge

Many vulnerable children in Afghanistan, including children engaged in street begging and informal work, are out of school due to poverty and limited access to education. Without education, they miss the opportunity to develop basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills, limiting their chances for a safer and better future

Solution

The project will help 200 vulnerable, street-connected children access basic education, learning materials, and a safe learning environment. It will also engage families and communities to support children's education, helping them develop basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills and improve their future opportunities

Long-Term Impact

The project will help 200 vulnerable children gain basic education and essential life skills, improving their chances of a safer and more stable future. Increased access to education can also reduce children's dependence on street activities and support their families and communities over the long term.
