At Sunbeams School System, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. Extracurricular activities play a vital role in building confidence, teamwork, and discipline among students—especially for children from underserved communities.
One of the most exciting highlights of the year was our Annual Sports Gala, a much-anticipated event held once a year, where approximately 200 students actively participated in various sports and physical performances. The event created a joyful environment where students were able to perform, compete, and celebrate their abilities with enthusiasm.
With the help of donations received through GlobalGiving, students had access to proper arrangements, equipment, and a supportive environment that allowed them to fully enjoy the experience. Teachers observed increased motivation, confidence, and teamwork among participants, while students expressed excitement and pride in taking part.
In addition to sports, students at Sunbeams School System are showing steady progress in extracurricular activities, contributing positively to their overall development and well-being.
