Life at Jemo House is a beautiful, busy blur of growth. We are currently celebrating two major milestones that perfectly capture our mission: nurturing our children from their very first steps to their brightest futures.
Our youngest family member has officially turned one, and she is on the verge of taking her very first steps! It has been a joy to watch her develop, and we are currently working on transitioning her into her own custom-built "big bed"—a special piece crafted by a local carpenter here in Maseno.
At the same time, we are cheering on our oldest young person as he takes his first big step into the professional world. Through our youth enterprise scheme, he is officially opening his own barbering business. Seeing him move from a child in our care to a budding entrepreneur and community contributor is exactly what our home is built for.
These moments—from a baby’s first steps to a young man’s first business—are only possible because of your partnership. Your support provides the daily care, education, and mentorship that allow our children to thrive, dream, and eventually build their own independent lives.
Thank you for being the foundation that makes these "firsts" possible. Together, we are ensuring that every child at Jemo House has the support they need to reach their full potential.
