During 2025 Tshepong Centre managed to provide therapy care and support to 40 learners every month. Services include breakfast and lunch every weekday, scholar transport to and from the centre. WE have started vocational training for our learners. 7 learners were registered in an agriculture learnership where they learn practical and theoretical skills on basic vegetable farming skills under the supervision of BEE Tree Consortium. These learners are now receiving amuch needed stipend to add on top of their disability grants.
Furthermore, 10 learners were trained in basic spa skills, manicure, pedicure and facials by a local spa. Our educational programmes were supplemented with therapeutic programmes of music therapy and horse therapy. These were very successful in some of the Cerebral Palsy and Autistic learners' gross motor skills. Two learners were referred to LSEN schools for further education.
15 Learners were introduced to digital skills such as coding and basic computer skills. You are helping us make a big impact in our community and the lives of our children with the projects we are able to provide through financial support.
Our next endeavour is to become more sustainable by doing social enterprises to generate cash flow for the organisation, linked to arts, crafts and sales.
We hope you continue to assist us to reach even highr hights and turn disabilities into abilities and opportunities.
