We continue to be proud of our ladies as they push through their studies and education. We had a call with Dolores and her family to celebrate her success in her final oral presentation and exams. Despite everything she struggled with, she did a great job. Her faculty made sure to remind her of how far she had come and how much she overcame during the end of her degree program. She is now working on an internship and applying for graduation to then pursue her career in Social Work and help others who have had difficult starts in life. We are so proud of the progress she has made.

Angelica is doing well and continuing her studies in Psychology. As we mentioned last time, Dolores is still dealing with her back injury and despite dealing with the chronic pain and lack of funds for proper medical care, she still did a great job on her final oral presentation and exams at the end of July. We will be having a call with her soon to celebrate her success and to discuss what comes next on her academic journey to a career in Social Work helping others in need.

Our ladies are doing well and studying away to get through their degrees. They continue to impress us with their determination and drive, despite continual challenges. Dolores recently injured her back and had to go to the hospital. Despite dealing with the chronic pain and lack of funds for proper medical care, Dolores is still pushing through her studies and is preparing her final oral presentation and exams at the end of July. We have no doubts that she will do great!

Our ladies have had an eventful start to the year. Angelica started the 5 course load semester with COVID, along with the family she works with. Thankfully she and the family are okay, but it did hit Angelica hard. We had our call this week and she says she is feeling better but still being cautious and taking care of her health.
As for Dolores, she starts classes this weekend and begins her final year and internship as she gets that much closer to graduation and starting her career. She has many interests but is narrowing down to dealing with domestic abuse victims and survivors or neglected elderly individuals.

Our women continue to make us proud as they stay dedicated to their studies, despite the struggles they have been presented with. The ladies are in the last weeks of the semester and getting ready for final exams. Dolores and her son are still coping with the loss of her son’s father. Despite all of the things she is juggling, she is still doing well in her classes. Next week she will be defending her thesis virtually in front of three licensed social workers which will judge her work. She is nervous and stressed, which is natural, but we have no doubts she will do well as she always does.
