We at Para Adelante are very excited and grateful to be an organization supported by GlobalGiving and all its supporters. We would like to thank everyone who has supported and those who continue to support us and the women.

As you know, one of our students, Dolores, recently graduated with a degree in social works. Being a single mom, who also takes care of her own mother, made her journey to earn her degree a challenging one. Due to her hard work and perseverance, she succeeded and is now working in an internship. She will pursue her career in Social Work and help others who have had difficult starts in life. We are so proud of the progress she has made. She is a true ambassador for Para Adelante!

Angelica (pictured above), who is pursuing a degree in psychology, is making great strides in her studies. When she began her educational journey, she was not sure if she would be able to succeed, but she is doing very well and is getting more confident each semester. We see a very successful future for her as she is planning to help those in need of emotional and mental support.

Our students continue to tell us how grateful they are the organization and all the donors who help provide this opportunity for them to better their lives and those of their families and communities. These women continue to embody the Para Adelante spirit and continue to inspire us. With that inspiration, we are still staying busy building our online store where we sell a variety of beautiful, one of kind accessories handmade by women in Guatemala with 100% of the net profits going to fund the scholarships. These items can be found on our website (http://paraadelante.org/shop/) with more inventory to be posted and we hope to launch a Shopify store to reach even more people and fund more scholarships to help more women and their families.

All of us at Para Adelante are very humbled and grateful to be part of the group of organizations supported by GlobalGiving and all its supporters. We would like to thank everyone who has supported and those who continue to support us and the women.

We continue to be proud of our ladies as they push through their studies and education. We had a call with Dolores and her family to celebrate her success in her final oral presentation and exams. Despite everything she struggled with, she did a great job. Her faculty made sure to remind her of how far she had come and how much she overcame during the end of her degree program. She is now working on an internship and applying for graduation to then pursue her career in Social Work and help others who have had difficult starts in life. We are so proud of the progress she has made.

Greetings from the ladies of Para Adelante

Thank you! Gracias! From all of us at Para Adelante!
All of us at Para Adelante are very humbled and grateful to be part of the group of organizations supported by GlobalGiving and all its supporters. We would like to thank everyone who has supported and those who continue to support us and the women. Our hearts go out to all those all over the world who are still suffering and struggling during these continuous difficult and uncertain times.

Angelica is doing well and continuing her studies in Psychology. As we mentioned last time, Dolores is still dealing with her back injury and despite dealing with the chronic pain and lack of funds for proper medical care, she still did a great job on her final oral presentation and exams at the end of July. We will be having a call with her soon to celebrate her success and to discuss what comes next on her academic journey to a career in Social Work helping others in need.

The ladies regularly tell us how grateful they are the organization and all the donors who help provide this opportunity for them to better their lives and those of their families and communities. These women continue to embody the Para Adelante spirit and continue to inspire us.
