The mission of Education for Hope is to enhance the lives of young people in Uganda through healthcare education, primarily in the profession of nursing. Offering each student an opportunity to develop professional skills that will ensure their economic self-sufficiency and personal well-being. This project provides tuition to young men and women from the area of Kaberamaido, Uganda. A semester cost $500 per student. Currently 18 students receive funding, in this successful program.
There are currently 200,000 individuals living in Kaberamaido, Uganda. Less than 4% of the young adults attend higher education.
