Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) successfully conducted a comprehensive door-to-door baseline survey under the "Education for Every Girl" initiative across 48 villages, covering 1,010 school-going girls from economically disadvantaged families. The RSKS team visited each household, completed digital survey forms, and collected detailed information on the girls' education, health, hygiene, and socio-economic conditions. Based on the survey findings, girls from the most vulnerable households were identified for educational assistance.
The survey highlighted significant educational challenges. Nearly 98% of the girls reported that their education is being affected by their family's poor financial condition. Although the girls demonstrated strong aspirations and enthusiasm for learning, many continue to face barriers that limit their educational opportunities. The survey also found that 11% of the girls do not have any educational materials, while 86% have only partial learning resources, making it difficult for them to participate effectively in classroom activities and prepare for examinations.
To address these needs, RSKS India will provide the selected girls with comprehensive Educational Support Kits, including school bags, geometry boxes, exam boards, notebooks, register sets, drawing and sketchbooks, pens, pencils, and other essential stationery items. Access to these learning materials is expected to improve school participation, enhance academic performance, and encourage girls to continue their education. Supporting girls' education also contributes to broader social outcomes by promoting gender equality, increasing educational attainment, and helping reduce practices such as child marriage.

The information collected provides a clear understanding of the challenges faced by girls from economically weaker families. Providing essential learning materials to these students will strengthen their confidence, improve classroom participation, and encourage them to continue their education. Such initiatives play an important role in creating equal learning opportunities and supporting the long-term development of girls in rural communities."
