In School Thanks to you!

You can keep her in school
You can keep her in school

We can’t believe it’s already the week before Christmas. There’s still plenty of time to give a life changing gift to a student like fourteen year old Carol. Before the earthquake Carol lived with her sister, but the earthquake destroyed their house. After Carol’s sister became pregnant with twins, she simply couldn’t care for Carol and was forced to send her to an orphanage.

Despite the challenges she’s faced, Carol is a bright, optimistic young woman who has big dreams for the future. She wants to be a nurse so that she can help others as they’ve helped her.

This Holiday season, you can support Carol while finding the perfect gift. When you make a donation on behalf of a loved one and they’ll receive a lovely card. You can even select an ecard which will be ready almost instantly.

GlobalGiving gift cards are great, meaningful last minute gifts. You can also send a greeting card by visiting the project page and selecting “Gift or in Honour of” below the orange “Donate” button.

If you’re ready to do a little more for Carol, why not set up a recurring gift and make 2013 a year of giving? Your recurring donation will be matched by an anonymous donor, doubling your impact and making a huge difference to Carol. You can set up a reccuring donation by clicking on “Monthly Recurring” under the orange donate button.

Thanks so much, and Happy Holidays!
