68 more Children in School - Thanks to you!

Never too young for learning!
Never too young for learning!

We’re delighted to announce that, thanks to you support, we’ve added an additional 68 children to our scholarship programme. These children will attend the school we recently renovated at the Foyer d’Orelph Orphanage.

These kids are now attending school in safe, dry classrooms which your donations and the work of our volunteers built. For the first time since the earthquake, these kids have a real school to attend – and it’s all thanks to you.

We have already secured funding for two full months of school for all 68 children, and, with your help, we looking forward to seeing these children through many more months of school.

On June 15th, securing that funding will be a little bit easier. Global Giving will be matching all donations of up to $1,000 by 30%, and the organsiation which raises the most will win an extra bonus. We hope you’ll continue supporting these kids by giving what you can on June 15th and spreading the word.

One last time, thanks so much for generously supporting education for the children of Port au Prince.
