Building a Brighter Future

By Maria Fernanda Franco | Development Director

We have officially reached the middle of the 2026 school year, and we are incredibly proud to share that our students are thriving, our classrooms are full of energy, and the results of your investment are more visible than ever. We are working tirelessly every day to ensure that we provide nothing short of the best possible education and care for our students.

Our holistic approach is actively transforming lives and raising the standard of education in Guatemala through several key areas:

  • Core Academic Strength: We are deeply strengthening our core curriculum in Math, Spanish, and English, ensuring our students build the foundational literacy, critical thinking, and bilingual skills necessary to compete in a modern world.

  • Holistic Well-being: True learning requires a healthy body and mind. We are actively promoting the mental health of our students through dedicated psychological support, while simultaneously improving their physical health and nutrition by serving a balanced, nutrient-dense meal every single day.

  • Tech-Forward Innovation: With an emphasis on learning technology, our students are mastering digital tools and coding. Paired with our specialized teacher development programs, we are continuously fostering a higher quality of education in the classroom.

  • Community & Family: We believe lasting transformation starts at home. Deep parental involvement through workshops and community meetings is ensuring that the positive changes we see today become permanent, long-term shifts for the entire family.

By combining strong academics, nutrition, mental health, and technology, we aren't just teaching—we are actively breaking the cycle of poverty and providing our students with the better opportunities they deserve.

As we push forward into the second half of the school year, the momentum is on our side, but our work is far from finished. We warmly invite you to keep supporting us on GlobalGiving. Your continued generosity allows us to maintain this high standard of holistic care and keeps the doors of opportunity wide open for Guatemala's future leaders.

Thank you for standing with us every step of the way!
