  • ARV team feels proud and joy that the children who are in the part of project is promoted / qualified to their further classes as it is time for starting the Academic year. In this quarter almost all the children studied hard and prepared to write their annual examinations. However still there are few children are waiting for their result.
  • 6 students passed Xth standard and going for junior College.
  • Parents are happy and expressed their gratitude being taking support for their children education.
  • 18 children are receiving scholarship from starving no more. These children are school dropouts and ARV interacted and did counseling, now they are back to school and getting scholarship.
  • In this summer vacation special classes are conducting on “spoken English” to improve their communication skills.
  • ARV team member visited cyclone affected village ( pedabidda) in Arakuvalley and motivated the all the children to go to local school and explained the importance of the education. Had meeting with community and all were agreed to send their children to school. They have asked school supplies for their children.
  • All the teachers given extratime to enable children to study hard and get good marks.
  • There are some parents having drinking habit and spending their meager wages. Children and mothers expressed to ARV team and the team taken challenge to have counselling with men(  children parents) who are adicted.
  • Motivated parents to send all the children in public school which is located in Pedabidda village where ARV newly constructed houses for all the families with the support of Habitat For Humanity India. This village was completed damaged during the Hudh-hud cyclone.
  • The need is more in tribal and Dalit area as they are living in remote villages with poverty. In this villages youth are active and graduated from their colleges/universities but no employmemnt opportunities. When we are motivating children in the village we are also facing challenges that most of the youth are just roaming in the village without jobs.
  • ARV team interacted with the children who are living slum area in Marchilipatnam town. Organising children with motivation to bring them back to the school.Hope we will succeed in next counselling. In same location around 15 children are going work in the city hotels and ragpicking, we are putting efforts with the local government authorities to change their lives.
