Expanding Access to Education

  • Awarded over 200 scholarships to high school and TVET students, ensuring that bright, underprivileged adolescents continue their education without financial barriers.
  • HKSAI launched a robust mentorship program, reaching more than 5,000 youth with peer-to-peer education on leadership, SRHR, and personal development. To increase accessibility to safe spaces for young people, HKSAI opened a new office in Eldoret.
  • In its efforts to expand reach, HKSAI recently launched its own Technical Training Center in Kibera to equip adolescents with practical skills in ICT, digital design, web development, and cosmetology—positioning them for employment or sole entrepreneurship.
  • HKSAI expanded its staffing at the beginning of the year for improved efficiency. This allows the organization to accommodate students on practice and internship programs
  • We have submitted 6 proposals since the beginning of the year, aimed at resource mobilization for sustained programming towards access to quality education.
  • HKSAI has indirectly reached more about 12,482 beneficiaries.

We remain grateful to our loyal friends and givers
