The percentage of vulnerable children in Hoima district is 42.5%. Buhimba Child Care Initiative provides education to 143 children in Buhimba Hope Academy of this category who lack basic scholastic materials and school fees. Classroom space is also limited due to increasing numbers. Help us construct one classroom block and to pay for school fees and scholastic materials so that these needy children can remain in school. One dollar makes a big, big distinction!
Hoima district has a population of 163,396 total numbers of vulnerable children, which constitute 45.8% of the children population in the district. This has largely resulted into children start practicing bad behaviors like, drug abuse, child labor, sexual abuse, school dropout, child neglect, unwanted pregnancies, and various forms of economic, social and sexual exploitation which further predisposes children to HIV infection and subsequent death. Support us save one life at a time!
Supporting vulnerable children with Books, Pens, Uniforms, school fees, Mosquito nets and other basic school materials will help keep them stay in school and this will reduce their vulnerability. The proposed classroom block will help absorb the ever increasing number of needy children joining Buhimba Hope Academy and creating good environment for the children to learn well and become of good use in future. One dollar makes a big, big distinction!
The vital goal of Buhimba Child Care Initiative is to provide quality education to the vulnerable children in Hoima. These children will become agents of positive change and will transform their own communities. They will justify your kind support.
