The work of children on the streets of Mexico City is due to conditions of poverty, marginalization and social exclusion that inhibit the exercise of their basic human rights such as education, health, play and even identity.
At ednica, we are convinced that through educational, psychotherapeutic and support actions, we can help them reduce their working day and eventually prevent them from working on the streets.
Your help has been very important. So far this year, more than 120 boys and girls who work on the streets have been provided with spaces to develop cognitive skills such as reading, creative writing, logical-mathematical thinking and emotional skills that help them to avoid psychosocial risks.
We invite you to read the four-monthly digital magazine produced by the children in its Spanish version.
Thank you for being part of ednica.
