The challeges have been a lot with the childhood in ednica.

We have greatest changes in the organization in the last months, we add efforts for the education´s kids and adolescents than work or lived in the streets. With the IPG Mediabrans, Fundación T-T, Proyecto Alpha Hardin y AHG´s support, ednica´s team provided almost 120 bagpacks for kid´s and adolescents, that hapenend in the dates for the return to the presential classes.

In ednica, the prevention of the use psychoative substances is very important. If children and adolescentes know the risks of using psychoactive substances, they can focus more on theirstudies, that´s why we promote the develoment skills for the prevention of risks in that population. They have reflected about the use of this substances, is important to say that this prevention exercises have been working in trainings in alliance with others organizations in Mexico like Matraca A.C. of Xalapa in Veracruz and CODENI in Guadalajara.

At ednica, we encourage the kids to extend their studies as long as possible. In the Xochimilco Community Center, mothers, children and adolescents, have been accompanied in the registration and re-registration processes in the different educational spaces. In the three community centers have been supported with the homework of the kids and provided with computer equipment for the classes online and the anothers assignments.

The ednica´s team provide educational sessions for reinforce their studies. With preschoolers we work on counting principles, with medium and teenagers we reinforce the resolution of mathematical problems, in both sessions we include fun and entertaining for the kids. In a same way, we promote the reading habits in children of all ages.
