During the winter months, our regular programming runs as reported in our last communication to you.
In addition, we encourage families to visit the Zoo on weekends for special activities that are both fun and educational. These include animal feedings and trainings – animal training in zoos is a method whereby animals are acclimated to obeying various commands so that keepers and veterinary staff are able to conduct non-invasive health examinations without the need to use potentially dangerous anaesthetic – as well as musical performances and photography exhibitions.
We are currently preparing for our next big educational event that is scheduled for January 25th – our annual arbor day activities. Fun tree planting activities for the whole family teach our visitors about the importance of trees and sustainable development of our resources.
Thank you for being a part of our efforts to educate our community in an atmosphere of inclusion and tolerance.
