Dear Kind Donors of our School,
We Thank you with all our Hearts for your wonderful support of all our Children who live at our School. We Thank you for your vital support, that we can take care of them and provide them with complete care from the time they are little Children to young adulthood, as they go through their journey of Healing, of scholastic education and of high level education in Traditional Cambodian Music.
We Thank you for your life-saving kindness. Because of your help, we are able to open the doors of our School day and night to emergency cases, of Children found on the streets, or in great danger, or who have suffered horrific abuse.
On the 11th -12th August, we celebrated 32 years since our founding - 1994-2026.
With Dance and Music, Prayers and Birthday Cake, we gave Thanks for every Blessing.
Together, since the founding of our School, we adults have passed through war, curfew, shelling, coup, typhoon and fire. We have known the coming of Peace and through it all, for over three decades we have welcomed and taken care of those Children in Kampot Province and around Cambodia, who have lost everything and everyone. We are the only centre in Kampot Province to take care of Blind Children and Youth, and one of two centers in the whole of Cambodia. Our Blind Students form the only professional Ensemble of Blind Musicians in Cambodia.
Today a large network of former Children at our School, now grown, from all over Cambodia and the world, celebrate with us.
Last month, we also celebrated one of our Girls who passed her final High School Baccalaureate Exam and will continue on with Computer Science and English in Higher Education, whilst still living at our School, because she has no proper family.
In our unique Work to restore and preserve Traditional Cambodian Music and Cultural Heritage, we give Thanks for the Trust given to us by the Ministry of Culture of the Royal Kingdom of Cambodia and to Her Excellency, Dr Phouerng Sackona, Minister of Culture.
We give Thanks to the Kampot Department of Social Affairs, for the wonderful, close cooperation they give us in very difficult cases. Together with them, we work day and night to resolve cases where Children are in awful, unimagninable circumstances We are asked from organizations from all around Cambodia for our help.
In Profoundest Gratitude to you all for helping make it possible for us to continue running our School and taking care of our Children and Blind Students.
And my Deep Gratitude to my beloved Collegues for their Service and Love, which goes beyond any ordinary job. My Love goes with them also.
Thank You All.
