Empowering Students with Autonomy
We're overjoyed to announce that 20 Perkins Braille machines have been provided to students with visual impairment. These machines will equip them with the tools they need to thrive academically and independently.
Partnership with Parents
At Rising Sun, we believe that collaboration is key to unlocking the full potential of our students with special needs. Our Parent-Teacher Meeting is a perfect example of this partnership in action. We're grateful to our parents for their active involvement in their child's journey towards self-reliance.
Empowering Leaders of Tomorrow
In order to present the real talents and abilities of our persons with disabilities we collaborated with Packages Mall to host an unforgettable event. Our students organized an awareness walk, set up stall to show case their special craft and distributed awareness material in general public.
Sports for a Balanced Life
Sports play a vital role in the personality development of children with special needs. At Rising Sun, comprehensive sports training is an integral part of our academic program. Our efforts have yielded remarkable results, with our students achieving international laurels. We're proud to announce that our student Iqra won a silver medal at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Italy. This achievement brings our total count of international medals to 94, a testament to the dedication and talent of our students.
A Testament to Quality Services
We're honored to have received a visit from esteemed guests Rebecca Ralston, Senior Director, Early Childhood and Preventive Health, Special Olympics International, and Pearl Ang, Senior Manager, Health, Special Olympics Asia Pacific Region. They were thoroughly impressed by our state-of-the-art teaching and training facilities, sports activities, and mobile assessment van, praising our efforts with the words: "It is the best institute that we have seen since we came to Pakistan.”
