Tibu Africa aims to raise US$1 million through GlobalGiving as part of a broader US$50 million campaign to expand the Generation Sportive Program across 8,000 public primary schools in Morocco. The initiative will provide 4.5 million children with regular sport and health education, improving their physical health, emotional wellbeing, confidence and school engagement, while creating 10,000 jobs for trained Moroccan Sport-Health facilitators and local teams.
Across Morocco, millions of children in public primary schools still lack regular access to safe, structured sport and physical activity, especially in rural, remote and underserved communities. This limits opportunities to build healthy habits, motor skills, confidence, emotional wellbeing and essential life skills. The project will benefit 4.5 million children who need inclusive sport and health education as part of their school experience.
Tibu Africa will expand the Generation Sportive Program across 8,000 public primary schools. Trained Sport-Health facilitators will deliver regular, inclusive sessions combining physical activity, health education and life skills. Funds will support facilitator training, sports and educational equipment, school coordination, monitoring and outreach to underserved areas, while creating 10,000 jobs for Moroccan youth.
Over time, the project will give 4.5 million children regular access to sport and health education, helping them become healthier, more confident, resilient and engaged at school. It will also create 10,000 jobs for trained Moroccan youth and strengthen public schools with a sustainable model that promotes wellbeing, inclusion and life skills. The result will be healthier schools, stronger communities and lasting opportunities for children nationwide.
