The Great Story of Baanunrak: 35 Years of Love, Care, and Dreams Come True
Celebrating 35 wonderful years, Baanunrak has been a beacon of hope and love for the community. Over this incredible time, we have had the privilege of caring for more than 1,000 children, many of whom have grown up to give back to the community in meaningful ways.
Among our success stories, 42 children have graduated from our program, and many have returned to volunteer or work with us, demonstrating the lasting impact of our care and support. We still have 7 children in the university
One of the most inspiring stories is that of our very first baby, who is now the Manager of the project. When he was just four years old, he dreamed of buying a bus for the home and the mothers in the community, and he even envisioned himself driving it. Despite having no money, he connected with the Japanese embassy, negotiated with them, and secured a school bus—all driven by his strong desire and determination.
After 25 years, that dream has become a reality. Untill now he continues to care for our children, driving them to school and various recreational programs, embodying the spirit of caring and perseverance that Baanunrak inspires.
This story reflects the heart of our journey—one of love, hope, and turning dreams into reality.
