Education and Nutritious Meals for Nepal's Children
United Foundation–Nepal remains committed to helping underprivileged children in Nepal access education, nutritious meals, and opportunities for a better future.
Through our Education & Meals for Needy Children in Nepal project, we aim to support children from low-income families who face daily challenges in meeting their basic needs. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future, regardless of their family's financial situation.
Our Progress and Commitment
During this reporting period, our focus has remained on supporting the long-term goals of the project and strengthening our ability to reach children in need. Our work with Balsarathi Academy in Kathmandu continues to be an important part of our mission to support education and child welfare.
Many children in Nepal face difficulties accessing quality education, nutritious food, and essential school supplies. These challenges are especially difficult for families already struggling financially.
Challenges We Face
Recent floods and landslides in Nepal have created additional hardships for vulnerable communities. Families affected by these disasters face financial uncertainty, disrupted schooling, and difficulty meeting basic needs.
These challenges have reinforced the importance of our mission. We recognize that providing education and nutritious meals is not only about meeting immediate needs but also about creating lasting opportunities for children.
Looking Ahead
United Foundation–Nepal plans to continue strengthening its education and meal support programs, building relationships with local communities, and seeking additional funding to reach more children.
Our priorities include improving access to nutritious meals, supporting educational needs, and helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds remain in school.
