Dear Friends,
I’m delighted to share recent developments to our child sponsorship project. This is one of our priority project as since the end of 2016 we’ve had over 500 kids on sponsorship waiting list. Growing team: Our team is growing, allowing us to progress in many key areas and leverage the diverse expertise of our global team. We have recently established Creative and Fundraising Teams to accelerate our impact. Fancy joining us? Check out our open roles and join the team.
Sponsorship experience: In Q3 we are redesigning the entire child sponsorship experience. Our Creative Team is listening carefully to our sponsored children and sponsors and will be working hard to create a life changing and delightful experience. We already created a Child Sponsorship brochure to share with potential sponsors – if you’d like to see it, drop us email, to info@tanfghana.org and say hello.
New fundraising strategy: Our Fundraising Team is developing an innovative fundraising strategy attracting not only individual child sponsors, but engaging in strategic partnerships with carefully chosen charitable trusts, NGOs, companies and other organizations to sponsor children with TANF. The team is also looking into matching grants and subsidies to apply for to increase funding, and to reduce that number of children currently on the waiting list to sponsorship!
Our Newsletter: As we believe communication and project transparency is key, we refreshed our newsletter to keep you updated more frequently. If you are not yet signed up to our mailing list, but would like to be kept up to date with regular updates, please sign up here.
You’re a big part of our success, and I’d like to thank you again for choosing TANF and supporting us in working towards our vision of a prosperous and poverty-free Ghana.
We're excited to also tell you that GlobalGiving, our fundraising platform, are having a Fundraising Rewards Day! Whilst the $110,000 in prize money lasts, ALL donations to TANF will receive an additional 50% contribution. And there are lot's of other prizes too.
Add it to your diary - Wednesday 12th 09:00 to 23.59 EDT (the time zone is important!)
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes and I can’t wait to share our progress with you in our next update.
With gratitude,
Laud, the children & TANF team
