We are excited to announce The Anidaso Nsae Foundation was recently able to provide educational materials for five new sponsored students who are currently attending Seven Stars International School. They are Wisdom, 3 years old, Ayishietu 6, Sandra 10, Samuel 14, and Daniel 15.
Each student received text books, and exercise books. We were also able to pay their school fees. As each child has their own challenges, we are blessed to be able to support them in this way, fulfilling our mission of furthering education and providing health care for children in need. At this time, we are looking for a godparent or sponsors to help us continue providing precious resources and care for these wonderful children. If you are interested in contributing to the lives of these young students, please contact us at info@tanfghana.org In addition, our organisation hosts overseas volunteers.
Last month we were delighted to have Catherine from the US with us. She was teaching at Seven Stars International School, where some of our sponsored students, such as the five mentioned above, go to school. During her time at the school she was able to have a huge impact especially in ICT classes, which she made more hands-on and practical – allowing the students to use her laptop and apply what they have learned from the textbook. However, the school is still lacking in key resources.
Hence, Catherine, donated a desk to the school, to give students in overflowing classes more personal space for learning, rather than all cramming around one table. We hope to continue this great initiative, by ourselves donating more desks for the school that our sponsored students attend. Lastly, we are also working hard on our new project – creating our own school for all of the sponsored students. Please contact us if you wish to find out more. Thank you to all of you for your continued support! You make our project so successful!
