With the great support from our donors, we have been able to give scholarships to two new children within our community.
We are very grateful to our donors, who have enabled us to help these children, who are Benedicta and Bernard.
Benedicta and Bernard are brother and sister, who unfortunately lost their father on 21 June 2015. Their father passed away after suffering with a heart disease, for over 8 months. Due to their mother paying for his medicine, their family business broke down leading them into great debt. Both Benedicta and Bernard were no longer able to attend school as their widowed mother was unable to pay for their education fees.
However, now with the outreach support from TANF, the siblings lives have changed for the better and they are due to start school this September! Benedicta’s dream of becoming a nurse and Bernard’s of becoming a pilot, have now taken a step further to becoming their futures reality. Both children have already visited the TANF office to collect their school learning materials and all schools fees have now been paid.
