Dear Followers,
From all of us at TANF, we would like to say thank you and tell you about the difference you have made to 4 very grateful children.
Your generous donation of US $5000 in the Open Challenge (Dec 2013) has so far provided sponsorship for 4 children here in our community in Ghana. Their names are Romeo,Israel, Prince and Marry. These four children could not afford to attend school before this challenge and now they are being provided with an education, including textbooks, daily classes, lunch, back packs and uniforms as well as many community activities. On top of this your kind donations have allowed all TANF rescued children to be registered for much needed health insurance.
Above is a picture of three boys you have helped. They are very busy charming one of our Australian Volunteers after they received your donations. They are all enjoying their new lifestyle with many more opportunities.
Below are some of the happy rescued students in school with their new school bags and uniforms sewn for them by Rev. Laud (on the left) and gorgeous Marry. who is looking a little scared but only because its her first day of school.
Thank you so much for caring for us from a distance. We are so looking forward to continuing our work in the communities in Ghana and sending more children to our school and providing them with health insurance and community support. We could not do it without your concern and generosity.
Here at TANF we are so encouraged by your support and while day to day life provides many challenges, we are hopeful about our future and our collaboration with you, our followers.
We are planning many new ventures. For example; we are developing an educational series for various communities in Ghana on FIRST AID: Our idea is to provide First Aid Kits and training, so that the children learn how to care for one another when injuries or accidents occur. Many cannot afford professional medical care, so this will make a big difference to the communities immediately and in the long term.
What do you think of this idea our dear friends? We will need your support and guidance in reaching the wider community, so that we can save many more children. We appreciate any and all of your suggestions.
All our love,
Rev.Laud and the TANF Team.
