This time, I'd like to tell you about Mustapha Ouefgha, Dar Si Hmad's farm project manager, and his role in making this project happen. Mustapha has started his work-experience after graduation in Conventional Agriculture and worked in a variety of farms. For over 8 years he had worked with chemicals, pesticides, mass-production and, following a particularly hard time in one of the conditionning plants in which he inhaled harmful products, he simply quit because he had come to the realization that such treatment to products as well as humans was poisonous and that reproducing it is itslef a poisonous act. Mustapha has been with the organization of Dar Si Hmad for the last 2 years and he has poured his heart in making the farm project be a success, sharing the seeds, teaching the farmers, and making of the farm a warm and welcoming space.
Today the Dar Si Hmad farm is a successful and thriving initiative. We have just a class of US based students on a study abroad program and this has allowed us to also share this information with these young people, spread the word and share in the hope
Thank you to the GlobalGiving community for making this possible
