Educate/House orphans and disabled in Zimbabwe

by Rose of Charity

The children in Victoria Falls have very few resources to use towards school. Also, these children are not able to afford the necessary medical equipment to deal with HIV/AIDS or their disabilities.

The community of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe is very poor, and they do not always prioritize education and health over feeding ones family. It is sad to see kids left to fend for themselves against HIV/AIDS and disabilities as their parents must go work to try to afford the food just to support themselves. These kids need Rose of Charity as a guide and source of light as they learn income generating skills and are provided food and fun on weekends.

The project to expand and enhance the services of Rose of Charity would bring a greater benefit to the community as a whole as they see the value of every single human life despite disabilities and health problems.

Long-Term Impact

By educating and supporting these children, we hope to instill in them the importance of education. This way, they will pass on this idea to friends and future generations as Zimbabwe begins the path to economic recovery after some brutal years.
