Summary

This project seeks to provide educational qualification and personal skills to some displaced youth caused by the ongoing crisis in the English regions of Cameroon to ease thier reintegration into the society upon release. Some have lost thier homes, perants and education due to this effect, because of hunger and unable to Carter for themselves, they have involved themselves into criminal activities thats has let them today in prison. Some are orphans and street childrens they need your help.

Challenge

Due to the increment of population in this same prison which is hosting over 1300 inmates mixed with women, men and minors all living in a separate quarters in the same yard. The prison is facing hygiene and sanitation problem, hunger. The acquiring of educational qualification and personal skills is not guarantee as the facilities to provide this services are not available so this project aims to establish a school program for the minors inmates detained in this prison.

Solution

Project seeks to provide educational qualification and personal skills to minors inmates in this prison while promoting the cultural heritage of the children's, it will target about (200) inmates, underprivileged children, Orphans, street children's, children's from conflict zones and those from low income homes who are the most vulnerable group to ease their reintegration into the society and to build up their capacities.

Long-Term Impact

Its in this view that we have come out with this educational program to permit these minors inmates who are mostly orphans and street children to acquired some knowledge and personal skills that will ease their reintegration into the society and stay away from criminal activities to put an end to this unfortunate situation and to be useful to their communities.
