Five years ago, Sega was just a dream and the 150 girls now attending the school had little hope of a productive future. Today, thanks to your support, the girls are confident in their abilities, positive about their self-value, and very hopeful about what lies ahead. In December, we celebrated the graduation of our first class of students! It was a joyous occasion of singing, dancing and many thoughtful, inspiring speeches. With a 93% pass rate (compared to 58% nationally) our Sega grads are well-prepared for the next step in their journey, whether they go on to further higher education, start their own businesses or find a job in the community.
We are all part of a global village working together toward a common goal of helping to provide each of our girls with the education and business skills they need for a brighter future. These educated young women will lead the charge in decreasing poverty and increasing standards of living in their homes and communities.
Thank you for investing in girls’ education!
