Educate the Future Leaders of Sierra Leone

Since opening its doors in 2024, Kamawornie Nursery School has become a place of learning, hope, and opportunity for young children in this rural community. What began as a dream to provide early childhood education is continuing to grow because of the generosity of supporters like you.

We are excited to share another important milestone in the school's development.

Construction is now underway on a protective fence that will help create a safer and more secure learning environment for the children. Thanks to donor support, work began with the moulding of concrete blocks, and this phase has now been completed. Construction has progressed to laying the foundation and building the fence walls, bringing the project steadily closer to completion.

One of the most encouraging aspects of this project has been the involvement of the local community. Parents, volunteers, and community members have generously contributed their time and labor, demonstrating their commitment to providing a safe place where their children can learn and thrive.

The new fence will help protect the school grounds, provide a safer play area for students, and create a more secure environment for teachers and families. It is another important step in strengthening the foundation of quality early childhood education in Kamawornie.
