Project Report | Dec 20, 2021
Going the Extra Mile for Isaiah & Samuel

By Amy M Baty-Herbert | Project Coordinator

Project Supporters,

We greatly appreciate your ongoing educational support for students in Sierra Leone.  Your support recently helped Isaiah and Samuel who recently lost their mother unexpectedly.  Their mother was the breadwinner for the family of 8 and suddenly that burden was on their dad in the midst of this major loss to their family. Your support provided the family with nutritious food including rice, onions, milk, sugar, cooking oil, and local spices in addition to their educational needs.

Isaiah is in class 2 and Samuel is in class 4.  Both boys enjoy going to school and were grateful to receive all their school needs covered including books, school supplies, uniforms, and tuition for this school year also.

Your support is truly helping these future leaders stay healthy and get their education. Providing quality education to the future leaders in Sierra Leone is helping them to rise above poverty, become independent and better decision-makers.  It brings lasting empowerment and definite change.

Our recurring donors are making a continuous impact, which provides consistent educational support to students in Sierra Leone. If you are not yet a recurring donor, we warmly invite you to consider setting up a recurring donation.

Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

With great appreciation,

Amy and the Develop Africa team
