Excitement at the CAMES

By VAAFD TEAM | VAAFD TEAM

The 2016/2017 school year has had an interesting event taking place at CAMES, the students have been enjoying the taste of entertainment. It has been the wish of the students to own musical instrument to be able to building their talents and the opportunity has finally come. A student at Laurence High School from California donated some musical instrument to the school to help the kids at CAMES to get excess to music. What makes this interesting most is that the kids who donated these items family got full involved till we finally received those musical instrument that the kids at CAMES are enjoying today.

Kids in Liberia do not have the opportunity to build their talent when they watch television and see other kids in other parts of the world with those opportunities they wish to have that too but again, schools here do not provide it for them.

We continue to appreciate all of friends, donors and supporters for their continue love and sacrifices they continue to make for the kids of Liberia and CAMES get a brighter future. Our biggest thanks go to Globalgiving who is the master planner for all of the opportunities these kids receive today.

One of our students James who father is vision impaired said that if the institution can help to build his foundation in music he will use that change the lives in his community and if the possibility exist, he will make impart on the Liberia and the world. His both parents are vision impaired and he wants to use music to be a great help to his family.  We want to appreciate all those who part toke in the Globalgiving matching fund to donate to our organization, thank you ever so much and you are making a difference, you protecting the future of kids who never knew that they could ever go to school.

The school will be starting her 3rd period exam next week and we are getting some challenges from our land lord he wants to sell the building that we are using for the school for $25,000.00 United States Dollars and we do not have the money buy and this is really embarrassing we are therefore asking all of our supports, donors and friends to kids help you us be able to buy this building so that the kids will remain in school. Our land lord said that if we are interested to buy can pay by three installments, first installment will be 50% of the said amount and other 50% can be paid evenly.  Thank you for all of the supports you continue to give our organization and the kids of Liberia and we hope that you will be our guest one day to be able to interact with those you continue to support.

Thank you so much for the support you are making a difference and together as a team, we can achieve much.

Again, many thank to our donors, supporters and friends all whose are giving their love and resources to support this project.  We also want to thank Globalgiving for their support as well.
