Thanks to all of our donors, friends, and supporter for a successful school year. The school has closed and the students are awaiting their academic report which will be an issue in three weeks’ time. In the meantime, the administration is working very hard to meet up with the date set for the distribution for the students' report. The grade12th, grade 9th and grade 6th students are waiting for their West Africa Senior High School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) result for graduation which will be released at the end of this month. Our computer lab has been set up; currently, the teachers are undergoing training at the school to prepare them for the next academic year since most of the school work will be done online.
With the effort of our high working donors and supporters, we are making blocks on the school campus since we want to change the current school building with a new one. The exciting building has been there over fifty years and it was affected by the Liberian civil war, therefore, engineers have advised us to replace in the few years to come.
Our solar procurement progress took a very long time since the company was giving us a special design but finally they have and shipment has been done and will finally receive our shipment at the end of this month, and installation will be done and August by the time the students return to school in September we current in the school.
We want to request donors, friends and supporters please continue to support this initiative this will help many unfortunate kids to come to school. The improvement of the facility is of great importance the total cost of the construction is $460,000.00 United States Dollars but we are not waiting for that amount we are starting the work with any amount that is donated. We need twenty thousand 6” blocks and five thousand 8” block but we have produced over seven thousand pieces of blocks and the production continues this week continue the support to enable carry on this project. The school in Ghana has successful graduation for the k-2 and the project going well.
