Project Report | Nov 26, 2018
The new science lab at the Carolyn A.Miller School

By VAAFD | VAAFD TEAM

Our dream of a new Science Lab comes true. Over the year it has been the dream of the students, staff and the administration to the Carolyn A. Miller School to one own a science lab and that dream has finally been realized. We are grateful to our donor who saw the need and grants our request by taken such an action by providing the funding for this project.

We are very much grateful to GlobalGiving who is always there to promote and organize donations for our institution. We are so proud of you and we appreciate all of the good your organization continues to do over the year. One of our most important donors who donated the money to purchase the school building also donated over $10,000.00 to buy armchairs and tables for kids and we were able to undertake all of these projects this academic year.

The school was totally out of seats and it was a real struggle for our students which many of them could use the floor to sit for classes but now, our institution has 500 plus chairs for our students. Many thanks to our donors and GlobalGiving the level support we continue to get from you.

Thanks to all of our donors and we are proud to have and grateful to you and we appreciate your love and kindness toward our work and the children of Liberia.
GlobalGiving is having a matching day on November 27 and every donation will be matched and it will be very helpful since it matches.
We are preparing for the construction and improvement of the school starting this January, therefore, we will appreciate your donations and to help us move forward.
It will cost us over $300,000.00 for the construction but we want to do it gradually we will start with any amount we get on hand and gradually we will have it completed.
A donor can build a classroom and that classroom will be named after them. You can contribute to any room of your choice and be named after you or your entire family.
Many thanks to our donors and GlobalGiving for their support and we are grateful to you and we want you to know that you are making a difference.
Thank you and we look forward to your comment and please feel free and inquire anything about the work you are supporting us to do.
