Summarize
Over the past three months, our effort to teach refugee teens in Nakivale has faced many problems, mostly because we don't have the resources we need to run our programs well.
Even though it was hard to raise money, we have been able to make a safe and supportive place for vulnerable children and teens to learn. We have been focused on giving young people who are more vulnerable the basic educational materials and hand skills training they need to build a better future for themselves and the community they live in.
Stories of success and impact
Jannine and Janvier are both teenagers who have been in our programs at New Talent for the Best Future. When they came to the Nakivale Refugee Settlement with their family, they didn't have much access to education in their home countries, but they both loved drawing (art).
Through our art skills program, they have not only gotten the education they need, but they have also learned a lot of skills that will support them in the future.
With the love of drawing. They now have a sense of purpose and hope for a better future because of this new skill. More vulnerable children are in need of these skills; we ask for your support today.
Thank you,
New Talent for the Best Future
