Vulnerable refugee children and youths face barriers such as lack of resources, fees, language barriers, poverty and discrimination, preventing them from accessing education and realizing their potential. This project is dedicated to uplifting marginalized refugee children, orphans and school dropouts by facilitating their enrollment and interest in schools by providing a pre-school program to find out their potential and skills as a preparation to a scholarship opportunity and life skills.
Nakivale Refugee Settlement hosts 171,387 Refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, Somalia, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Eritrea making it the most crowed camp in Uganda, a place where vulnerable refugee children and youths face barriers such as lack of resources, fees, language barriers, poverty and discrimination, preventing them from accessing quality education and realizing their full potential to resilience.
This project is dedicated to uplifting marginalized refugee children, orphans, school dropouts and the most vulnerable youths by facilitating their enrollment and interest in schools by providing education aligned with their talent, potential and skills. Additionally, it offers scholarship opportunities to strengthen equal access to quality education, empowering them to become self-reliant and pursue a brighter future... Just like other children."
This project provides educational opportunities beyond classrooms by breaking down barriers and empowering vulnerable refugee children and youths with education aligning with their talents and skills, as it fosters self-reliance and resilience. Growing and thriving into education, they gain the knowledge and confidence needed to pursue their dreams. Over time, the effects of this empowerment lead to more education, skilled and self-sufficient refugee community able to sustain the future.
