Summary
Over the past years, we have continued supporting refugee teenagers in Nakivale, even though we do not have enough resources to run all our activities. Because of the ongoing conflict in Congo and Sudan, more young people and children are arriving in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, and many of them urgently need education.
With the little we have, we are still able to help more than 180 children and teenagers access education and basic hand skills. We make sure they have a safe place where they can learn and feel supported, a place we all call home.
Impact
Two of our teenagers, Musa and Ganine, joined our program after arriving in Nakivale alone. They had very limited access to education before coming to New Talent for the Best Future. Both loved drawing, but they had no chance to practice their talents. Through our program, they are now learning, gaining skills, and growing their passion for art. This has helped them find hope and purpose again; many children are facing the same in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, and your help is greatly needed.
Conclusion
Even without enough resources, we remain committed to helping refugee teenagers learn and build their future. The number of children in need keeps growing, and we hope to get more support to continue this work.
Thank you,
New Talent for the Best Future
