Summary
Over the past three months until now, our initiative to educate refugee teenagers in Nakivale has faced numerous challenges, particularly due to a lack of resources to effectively run ours programs.
Despite these hurdles, we have been able to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for 30 young teenagers. Our focus has been on delivering essential educational contents and hand skills training to more vulnerable young people, aimed at equipping these young people with the tools they need to sustain a better future for themselves and community they live in.
Impact and Success Stories
NAFISA and IZAI are both teenagees who have been involved in our programs at New Talent for the Best Future, upon arrival in Nakivale Refugee Settlement with their family, NAFISA and IZAI had limited access to education in their home countries but they both had a passion in drawing (Art).
Through our hand skills program, they have not only achieved their needs of education but also a number of skills and at the same time they are refunding their
passion for drawing. This newfound skill has given them a sense of purpose and hope for a better future.
Thank you,
New Talent for the Best Future
