Colombia is the second country with greater displacement 6'044.200 million displaced. The current economic situation and the decrease in revenues of these communities has a direct effect on families conditioning access and quality of education their children receive and the violation of their rights . Supports 10 displaced children to receive education, continue their academic training cycle and avoid falling into the worst forms of child labor such as prostitution and drug abuse, among others.
In Colombia there are more than 2,100.000 child victims of forced displacement. These children have a painful experience that gets worse when they are added educational problems, as they have to face new integration links with the school and the community in which your new life unfolds, further complicating reality they face. We want 10 displaced children receive education and avoid falling into the worst forms of child labor such as prostitution, drug addiction and domestic service among others
It will provide formal education to children according to their level of education and provided a kit with the provision of school supplies and uniforms. In the school day they will be provided with a balanced snack that allows them to remain hungry in school. Parents are formed in patterns of parenting responsibility and to share with their children and the community in which they reside.
The project aims to ensure education to 10 displaced children and prevent them from falling into the worst forms of child labor by providing an educational grant, school supplies, uniforms and refreshment to remain in school , strengthening their families and the community where they live. It will serve 40 beneficiaries annually among children and parents, linking them to the Educational Institution Fundacion Estructurar and its programs, to continue and complete their academic process.
